The Department of Holidays and the Board of Tourism of the City of Arona encourages you to attend the events that take place on the occasion of the celebration of the "International Carnival of Los Cristianos, Arona 2018".

THURSDAY, MARCH 01

8:30 p.m. Presentation of candidates for Children's Queen, Queen of the Third Age and Queen of Carnival. PLACE: in the Infanta Leonor Los Cristianos Auditorium. Tickets can be withdrawn at the ticket office of the auditorium before the event.

FRIDAY MARCH 2

7:00 pm Inauguration of the Carnival exhibition, by Laly González and Mercedes Menéndez. PLACE: Cultural Center of Los Cristianos

9:00 p.m. Contest of Comparsas of the Carnival. PLACE: Carnival precinct (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos

SATURDAY MARCH 03

12:00 hours WIG PARTY Day Carnival, Pelucón Party, with Europa FM. PLACE: Carnival precinct (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos

7:00 pm DJ Young Arona area, enlivened by several resident DJs and locals. PLACE: Fisherman's Square (outside the Cultural Center), Los Cristianos

7:30 p.m. Carnival Announcer Cavalcade. PLACE: Playa de Las Américas, from C.C. Gala, on avda. Rafael Puig Lluvina, until C.C. Oasis, on avda. The Americas.

22: 00h: Great dance in tribute Billo's Caracas Boys. The great classics and successes of the Carnival of the legendary Venezuelan orchestra, live with the eternal voice of Billo's, Ely Méndez accompanied by the Morocho and the great orchestra. PLACE: Carnival venue (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos.

SUNDAY MARCH 4

12:00 hours Carnival Concert of the Music Band of Arona. PLACE: Plaza de La Pescadora, Los Cristianos

5:00 p.m. Carnival parade with the municipal groups of the Carnival. PLACE: From the Fisherman's Square (Cultural Center) to the beach of Los Cristianos

6:00 p.m. Meeting of murgas de Tenerife. PLACE: Carnival precinct (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos

MONDAY MARCH 05

7:00 pm Festival of choreographic groups. PLACE: Carnival precinct (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos

TUESDAY, MARCH 06

9:00 p.m. Gala of Election of the Queen of the Third Age of Carnival. PLACE: Carnival precinct (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 07

7:00 pm Election Gala of the Infant Queen of Carnival. PLACE: Carnival precinct (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos

THURSDAY, MARCH 08

9:00 p.m. Grand Election Gala of the Carnival Queen

FRIDAY, MARCH 09

7:00 pm Dance of the Third Age of Carnival. PLACE: Patio of the Cultural Center of Los Cristianos.

9:00 p.m. Gala Drag Queen of the Carnival. PLACE: Carnival precinct (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos. At the end: Great dance entertained by the orchestra Deliciosa. PLACE: Carnival venue (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos.

24:00 hours DJ area entertained by several local DJs. PLACE: Fisherman's Square (outside the Cultural Center), Los Cristianos

SATURDAY, MARCH 10

Day Carnival with two stages:

12:00 hours Family scenario with diverse performances and Carnival workshops. PLACE: Plaza de La Pescadora, Los Cristianos.

12:00 hours Stage 40 with national and international artists. PLACE: Carnival precinct (in front of the Valdés Center Building)

5:00 p.m. Costume contest of the Carnival. PLACE: Plaza de la Pescadora, Los Cristianos

8:00 p.m. VI Carnavalera beach route in homage to the great songs of the Carnival. PLACE: From the Fisherman's Square, promenade, Plaza de la Alpispa, Valle Menéndez Street, Juan Reverón Sierra Street, Amalia Alayón Street to the Plaza de la Pescadora, Los Cristianos

10:00 p.m. Great dance entertained by the orchestras Armonía Show and Wamampy. PLACE: Carnival precinct (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos

11:00 p.m. DJ area entertained by local DJs. PLACE: Fisherman's Square (outside the Cultural Center), Los Cristianos

SUNDAY, MARCH 11

4:00 pm Great Apotheosis Cost of Carnival. PLACE: From Paloma Beach apartments, on avda. Juan Carlos I, to the Cultural Center of Los Cristianos. At the end: Great dance entertained by the Tropin and The Regueton Band orchestras. PLACE: Carnival precinct (in front of the Valdés Center building), Los Cristianos

MONDAY, MARCH 12

9:00 p.m. Burial of the Sardine of the Carnival of Arona. PLACE: From the Fisherman's Square (Cultural Center), to Los Cristianos Beach. At the end: DJ zone enlivened by local DJs. PLACE: Fisherman's Square (outside the Cultural Center), Los Cristianos
